Eden Project

  • Description: After Eden’s amazingly successful first year, the management team needed a major rethink to upgrade their facilities to cope with the 10,000 visitors flocking to the project daily.

    Space’s brief was to create a new kitchen and servery in the visitor centre, redesign the main link building café to improve what was on offer and reduce queues, and build a semi permanent modular catering unit capable of supporting a large food court some way away from the main building.

    The pressure on time was immense as all projects had to be designed and installed in the off-peak season and be ready for the following Easter. Space pulled it off and continues to work with Eden now, creating new facilities for each stage of their development.
